Description:Nutmeg Essential oil is obtained from the evergreen tree that grows up to 20 meters. The exterior husk of the fruit is dehydrated and used for extracting Mace essential oil, the seeds for the Nutmeg essential oil. Nutmeg has been used as a domestic spice for centuries and as a remedy mainly for digestion and kidney problems.
Color: Clear Pale Yellow
Common Uses: Arthritis, constipation, fatigue, muscle aches, nausea, neralgia, poor circulation, rheumatism, improves digestion. It is also used in food flavourings.
Consistency: Thin

Blends well with: Nutmeg essential oil is a useful addition to many aromatherapy blends; it adds warmth and spice. It mixes well with Lavender, Rosemary, Orange, Sage, Clary, Geranium, clove and other spices.
Aromatic Scent: Spicy, woody, sweet and warm.
Background: The Indians used Nutmeg for treating digestive disorders; Egyptians used it in embalming the dead and the Italians during the Plague.
Precautions: In large amounts, toxic symptoms such as nausea and tachycardia can appear. The product should be avoided during pregnancy.
