Description: Clove essential oil is extracted from the tree Syzgium aromaticum. This evergreen tree grows up to 12 meters in height. During the rainy season, long buds start appearing. Changing color over time they are plucked from the trees and dried then these cloves are sold commercially. They contain Eugenol-75-87% and have high potency. It is antiseptic. It is found to be good for throat, arthritis, rheumatism, sinus, cataracts, and toothaches. It is used for raising the blood pressure and is effective in impotency.
